I'll overwhelm 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.

Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Still, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As both boxers participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually going ahead.
